And This is Love...

a blog by Daniel W. Shegrud

In Shakespeare's MacBeth, the title character says life is "...a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." MacBeth might have thought that, but I don't. I think life overflows with meaning, purpose, beauty, and joy.

Granted, we face a never-ending list of troubles. Crime, oppression, starvation, wars - choose one, there's plenty to go around. However, with the tiniest of efforts, the greatness and beauty of life can be seen in every corner our lives.

And This is Love... reflects my belief that life is good, that love is never wasted., and that both are worth celebrating. I'll be looking for moments in my own life that define love. When I find one, or if I see one on social media, I'll post it here so you can celebrate with me. After all, everyone loves reading love stories.

Blessings,

Daniel W. Shegrud
